Congratulations! You have made the decision to challenge yourself
on an Outward Bound Wilderness expedition. This is the first step
of many that you will take with Outward Bound. No matter which course
you have chosen you will find excitement, challenge and accomplishment
along the way. Our enrollment process in designed to inform you
about what to expect and bring on course, as well as make sure that
the course you have chosen will be a good fit for you.
There are two functions of the enrollment process:
1. We gather information from you which includes a medical history
and in some cases a physician’s exam, as well as information
about your intent and motivation for enrolling in an Outward Bound
Wilderness course.
2. We also provide you with detailed information about your course,
including travel information and the clothing required for you course.
However, it is important to know that no matter how much information
we provide, going on course will always feel a bit like stepping
into the unknown; and that is what adventure is all about.
