I went on an Outward Bound Ascent course last summer (2001).
I was dreading the experience. At the end of the course our
Ascent brigade met all the other brigades. When it was time
to go home, our brigade was the only one crying, and wishing
we didn't have to leave. To this day most of us still keep
in touch and consider us to be their second family. We visit
each other, talk on the phone, and write to each other. All
of us have changed for the better from Outward Bound and now
we have friends that we can talk to about our problems and
know everything about us. Most importantly they love us for
who we really are. Outward Bound changed my life!
