Welcome to Outward Bound's virtual adult melting pot. We know that many of our adult students welcome the chance to learn in dynamic settings and in diverse groups while still being treated like an adult with life experience. This collection of 1-3 week courses offers a unique Outward Bound adventure to anyone 18 and older, with no upper age limit. We understand that life is busy and you can't always take time off in the summer. Our solution? Outward Bound's broadest "off-peak" (Sept.-May) adult course selection - period.
Travel on foot over some of the oldest mountains in the world gaining backpacking and campcrafts skills. Then, whitewater paddling gets your adrenaline pumping and draws on teamwork, concentration and courage. Along the way develop skills and qualities to last you well beyond the wilderness.

This course is an ocean expedition in sea kayaks in the dramatic Kenai Fjords or Prince William Sound area of Alaska. Rugged coastlines, gorgeous campsites, icebergs, calving glaciers and lots of sea life make this course unique. This course is ideal for a broad range of challenge seekers and is best suited to those comfortable in the water.
Activities: Sea kayaking, seamanship, low-impact camping, solo service and final expedition
