Multi-Expedition - New Environments and Varied Skills

Deep in the heart of the North Woods of Maine, you're paddling a canoe along waterways once used by the Abenaki Indians and sighting moose, deer and bald eagles. Or maybe you're in a raft bouncing over rapids through the canyons of the Green River in Colorado. Either way, the experience is challenging, beautiful and inspiring.

But now you want to do something more, try a different activity. No problem! Step out of your canoe, strap on a backpack and head up into the Appalachians or through the painted desert of Joshua Tree National Park. Or rope up for a crack at climbing and rappelling on Oregon's famed Smith Rocks.

While some Outward Bound courses focus on a single set of wilderness skills and learning them in depth, multi-expedition courses offer you the chance to change mid-course from one activity and environment to another adventure all together. They are the perfect antidotes for the single-track mind and perfect for those who like to mix it up and sample from a much broader palette.
